The State Road Transport Corporation and Private Transport Operators give the general administrations from Jammu to Pahalgam and Baltal. Likewise secretly contracted taxis are accessible from Jammu & kashmir.

The shorter northern track is practically 16 km long, however has an extremely steep inclination and is truly challenging to climb. It begins from Baltal and passes through Domial, Barari, and Sangam to achieve the hollow. The northern track is along the Amarnath valley and up and down the track one can see the stream Amaravathy (It is more like a tributary of Chenab) which begins from Amarnath Glacier.
